The driving refresher course is a 3-hour workshop that provides the opportunity for people to be confident their knowledge of traffic rules and safe driving practices is up to date. They are provided through the generous support of New Zealand Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi).
It is a fun course that is run in a friendly and relaxed environment with other older drivers. It includes the latest information like:
- Licence renewal for those aged over 74
- Roundabout signalling
- The Top of the T goes before me rule
- Blind spots
- Sharing the road with cyclists
Workshops run during office hours and times differ between Age Concerns. The Age Concerns with workshops this month are listed in the banner above. Click on them to find their contact details and book directly with them today.
