Payroll giving is one of the simplest ways to support our work. By donating directly from your salary or wages, you can make a regular contribution that support us to champion a society where older people are valued, respected, and able to age well.
Even a small donation each payday can have a lasting impact.
What is payroll giving?
Payroll giving is a simple and effective way to support Age Concern through regular donations deducted directly from your salary or wages. If your employer offers a payroll giving scheme, you can nominate Age Concern New Zealand as your chosen charity and make a difference every payday.
Age Concern New Zealand is a registered charity approved to receive donations through Payroll Giving.
Your donation is automatically processed through your employer’s payroll system, making it an easy way to give regularly without any extra administration. Better still, you’ll receive the tax credit immediately through your pay, so there’s no need to claim it back later.
By choosing payroll giving, you’re helping Age Concern New Zealand support older people across Aotearoa New Zealand through information, advocacy, and programmes that promote wellbeing, dignity, and positive ageing.
How to get started
- Check whether your employer offers payroll giving
- Decide how much you’d like to donate each pay cycle
- Select Age Concern New Zealand as your chosen charity
- Your donation will be automatically deducted from your pay
If your workplace doesn’t currently offer payroll giving, encourage them to explore the option. We’d be happy to provide information about how it works.
