From the CEO address:
We here at iMIS International are enhancing our core business, while proactively capitalizing on worldwide opportunities arising from global cyclical business trends and the increasing demand for top flight products and services.

With a strong asset base and excellent execution capabilities we are poised as a premier, global development and manufacturing organization.
How has the iMIS Foundation impacted you? Let us know by sharing your story in the comments below.

The Briarwoods Wetland Preserve contains both deciduous woodland and an upland grassy meadow. Water emerges from seepage springs at the north end of the preserve and as there is no natural stream channelization, water flows through the upper layer of substrate, causing the soil's saturation. A field study done in 1984 identified 29 tree species, 81 species of grass, 16 shrubs and vines, 4 moss species, 36 bird species, and numerous reptile, insect, and animal life.

The size of this wetland, believed to be among the best in this geographic region, makes its protection important not only to wildlife, but to humans interested in the preservation of non-renewable resources for nature and scientific study. The wetland is a wonderful location for watching birds and animals.

We are gathering this weekend to do a volunteer garbage collection. Meet us at the Visitor's entrance on Saturday at noon.

I would like to nominate Angela Martinez for Volunteer of the Year. She has been a consistently enthusiastic member of the Community Day team. She is always kind and respectful to clients and other volunteers and sets an amazing example for all of us!
Tickets will be on sale beginning next week for the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. This year's event will be at Schuler's Restaurant, with a seated dinner and awards ceremony preceding cocktails, desserts, and dancing afterwards. Tickets are, of course, free to members who have contributed volunteer hours over the course of the past year and are only $10/seat for guests. We hope you can join us!

Did you realize that you can follow a number of communities that are set up to encourage knowledge sharing, networking, and support? Take a look around and listen to what other people in the industry are talking about!

Some highlights:

The Members FAQ Community is the place to discover all the benefits you are entitled to as a member of our organization.
* The Volunteer Community helps you get involved in a variety of community service projects.
* The Resource Library is a repository of industry best practices and tools to help you in your career.

If we can get a group of 20 people together, we can arrange an adventure trip for the day after the conference ends. we will get to choose our adventure: ziplining, bungee jumping, kayaking, or sailing. Please reply here if you are interested.
I've gotten many questions about transportation between our participating hotels and the conference center. We are happy to announce that we have contracted with AAA Bus Group to provide shuttle service from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM each day of the conference. Watch this site for the route map!
