Christianah is on her Doctor of Health Science Programme at Auckland University of Technology. She has background working in various clinical settings such as Public Health Nursing, Gastroenterology, Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery, Aged Care Nursing, Gerontology and Nursing Education. Christianah has a passion for gerontology and loves caring for older persons, the reason that brought her to Nursing. 

Through her research, Christianah hopes the audience will consider how better quality of life can be enhanced for older persons with dementia whose symptoms make them walk, as they have contributed immensely to the growth of society. Christianah loves writing poetry, gardening, music and tennis.
