This conference is a collaborative conference with Age Concern New Zealand and the New Zealand Association of Gerontology. Our “Vision for Ageing in Aotearoa” conference is designed to be broad and inclusive, reflecting the collaborative focus of the conference.
We welcome submissions from researchers, policymakers, practitioners, service providers and service users. Our goal is to facilitate a cross-sector conversation about how ageing in New Zealand is experienced now, and how it could look into the future.
The conference streams are interrelated, and encompass; aspects and determinants of individual physical and social wellbeing; our built environments and how we live in them; developments in the wider world with potential to inform or impact on ageing in New Zealand. Submitters should identify their preferred stream as well as a second stream preference, with the understanding that preferences will be adhered to as far as possible in the context of the overall balance of the conference programme
