Sorting out money matters
Pauline lived alone in a Housing New Zealand flat. She had got herself into a lot of debt. Age Concern Horowhenua arranged for her to go to our seminar on Superannuation and Your Entitlements. We also took her to see Budgeting Advice who, along with Work and Income NZ, have put into place strategies for dealing with her debt.
Pauline has since moved to be closer to her granddaughter and has taken on board the advice given to her. Although there is a long way to go, Pauline feels confident that with the help of her family and these services, she is on the right track.
